The Light of the World

The Bible describes Jesus as "The Light of the World". You would be forgiven for asking, what does that even mean? Well bear with me, I'm going to try and explain it.
You see, the bible also says that people who are separated from, and do not have a relationship with God, are in spiritual darkness. It talks about how they are spiritually blind, groping around in the darkness, unable to see what is around them.
I can't prove this situation to you, but I can tell you personally, that I used to be in that darkness too. Now that I've got "the Light", I can see that it was darkness, and I know it to be true.
That is why God gave us Jesus. So that he could give us light. Healing our blindness, and setting us free from that prison (Isaiah 42:6-7).
Do you ever feel like there's something missing in life. Something you can't quite put your finger on, but you feel like you're 'groping around in the darkness'.
If you want to have the Light, you must humble yourself, admit to God that you have done bad things, tell Him that you want to change, and ask Him to forgive you and give you Jesus, (the Light).
If you do that, honestly and genuinely, God will heal your spiritual blindness. It's difficult for me to describe the difference in your life after this one event. You will never be the same again.
