We Can't Go On Like This

These are the opening words of a political campaign poster in the UK in early 2010. They refer to the economic climate, they are trying to say that Britain needs a change of political policy and a change of Government at the election that will happen in the first few months of 2010.People all over the world are suffering from the economic crisis caused by the collapse of the banking system.
Politician all over the world are arguing about the best way to fix. Bankers all over the world are trying to explain it and how they wont let it happen again. Businesses all over the world are failing because of it. It is making an impact in so many peoples lives and lots of people are wishing that they could have a new start bypassing all the mess of the economic crisis. Do you feel like that?
The politicians would like to tell us that they have an answer which is as good as a new start. I wonder how many of us believe that.
Where can you really find a new start? If anyone could give you a genunine new start would you be willing to listen to them and consider it. That's exactly what God says. By sending Jesus Christ to die on a cross and come back to life He has offered us all the chance of a new life, a real new start.

Yes! I can vouch for this - God REALLY CAN give you a new start, even after you've messed up real bad. But it does mean a determined decision to turn away from your sins of the past [and present!] - I got this new start, in reality, 18 years ago - this new start lasts!  |
